Wallies
So, what are they?
They are pre-pasted, vinyl-coated wallpaper cutouts, Murals and border cutouts. Each package contains 25 cutouts, each border is 15 feet long, though the heights may vary and murals consist of one or more pieces, with variations in the sizes.
Do I have to cut them out myself?
No. They are already die-cut in each unique shape.
Do I need to use wallpaper paste to put them up?
No. You just soak for a few seconds and then stick them to the wall. It is so easy.
Can I get them off once I stick them up?
Yes. To remove simply peel them off. If there is any paper residue, moisten well with water. Once the paper is thoroughly wet, peel off. They are made to strip off without damage to the surface.
Can I hang them in a moist bathroom?
Yes. They are vinyl-coated so they can be washed and they can withstand the moisture in a bathroom. Just don’t put them right in the shower. Direct water flow will cause them to strip off.
Where can I put WALLIES?
Perfect for walls of course, but they also work great on furniture, clay or ceramic pots, picture frames, craft items, floor and table runners, wooden hope chests, lampshades, gift wrapping, invitations, bulletin boards, ceramic tile....the list is nearly endless. The only place you can’t stick them is on slick plastic surfaces and on ceramic tile they should be located away from high-moisture areas, such as backsplashes on sinks.
How long should I wait before applying to a surface that has just been painted?
Each paint manufacturer will have suggested times for waiting before applying a second coat of paint and these suggestions should be followed for applying WALLIES. They may also provide an amount of time for curing the paint before doing anything else to its surface. Paint should definitely be completely dry before application, but the best guideline is to follow manufacturer instructions.
Can I put them on existing wallpaper?
Yes.
Are they safe for scrap booking?
Scrap bookers love them. Unfortunately the cutouts are not 100% acid-free. However many people have gotten around this problem by spraying with products like Archival Mist® or by placing archival quality papers between the cutouts and their treasured photos. Their acidity is only slight.
Can I apply to tile, mirrors/windows and textured walls?
Yes. They adhere easily to hard, smooth surfaces like tile and glass. With textured walls, they adhere best when the texture is not too rough and the surface has been painted. Raw wood surfaces or porous, textured wallpaper usually poses a problem as the porous surface will absorb the wet glue and result in a weak bond. In this case you may want to reinforce the bond with a little spray adhesive.
Are they easy enough for my kids to decorate their own rooms?
You bet.
Can I use them for decoupage?
Yes! Just wet the back, stick them on and seal like you would any decoupage cutout.
Can I put them on furniture that goes outside?
We do not recommend it unless you use clear acrylic over them to seal. Extremes in temperature and humidity are not good for wallpaper products and can fade with time from extensive direct exposure to ultraviolet rays.
How many cutouts does it take to decorate a room?
Well, it's hard to say. Obviously it depends on the size of your room. Each package contains 25 cutouts. Some are larger than others: for instance the Noah's Ark is 6 1/2 inches wide while the Purple Pansy is just 2 inches wide. As a general rule you can usually do a thorough job with one pack for a small room, like a bathroom, and 3 packs for a normal bedroom.

Instant Stencils How To
- Before starting, make sure the surface is smooth, clean, sound and completely dry.
- Plan the layout of the product. Remember the Strips, Small Accessories and Large Accessories can be used alone or together to create a variety of looks.
- Remove the protective liner and place the product, tacky side down, on the desired surface.
- Position and hold the stencil with one hand, rub briskly with the INSTANT STENCILS™ Applicator. Start in the upper left corner of the design, and rub with pressure in a back and forth motion. (Note: Seam roller tools can be used when pressure is applied.)
- The pressure will cause the transfer process to begin. A change in color to a milky white will indicate the release of the stencil onto the surface. (Hint: Work on small sections at a time, concentrating extra time on areas with thin lines or great detail.)
- Frequently check to insure the design is transferring by slowing lifting the carrier liner. If the design has not fully transferred, replace the liner and continue to rub until the color change occurs.
- When the entire sheet is milky white in color, it will easily slip from the surface to reveal the full design. At this point the carrier sheet will be void of color or design.
- Allow the INSTANT STENCILS™ to bond to the surface for 48 hours before touching or cleaning.

Etched Glass Decals
IMPORTANT: Read all Instructions Carefully before Applying.
- Clean hands thoroughly to prevent any dirt/oils from adhering to the surface of the decal. Also clean the area where decal will be applied thoroughly with window cleaner and wipe dry with a lint-free cloth. ***Note*** Do Not allow the backing paper that is against the decal to get wet!!! If backing paper gets wet, you will not be able to remove the decoration from it and it will be ruined.
- Spray cleaned glass "very" liberally (Wetter is always better) with water, glass cleaner or very light mixture of soapy water before applying decoration. A substantial amount of moisture is required between the decal and surface to give an even appearance once fully dried. Never install on a dry surface.
- With dry hands, peel the decal from the backing paper. Lightly spray the back side (shiny side) of decal with water or glass cleaner. This will prevent it from clinging to itself and aid in its application. REMEMBER it is necessary to place the side of the decal that is against the backing paper to the glass. It will not adhere on etched side! If patterns are to face one another and, left & right designs are not available, apply one to the interior and one to the exterior of the surface.
- Place the shiny side of the decoration against the wet surface and then position it by sliding and moving into the desired location. Using a rubber-tipped squeegee, plastic driver's license or credit card (making sure there are no rough edges), work from the center outward and squeegee out "all" the excess air and moisture. Then, wipe dry with a lint-free cloth
- If any tiny bubbles appear between the decal and the surface, repeat Step 4, making sure to thoroughly wet the "surface" again and squeegee "all" of the moisture out. Any excess moisture should evaporate within a 24 hour period.
TINTED WINDOWS: Your decoration may give a more desirable appearance on the exterior surface, especially if the tint is dark. This has no adverse effect on your decoration.
GENERAL INFORMATION
If, at any time bubbles occur (bubbles appear as little white dots), simply peel back the area affected and re-apply. Bubbles that are visible only from the glass side are due to insufficient moisture during application. Spray a generous amount of window cleaner or very light soapy water to wet the glass and material before you squeegee.

Screen Art
Separate the double-sided magnet and align on each side of screen. Black sides of magnets must face each other. For black magnets, the dull sides will face each other. Magnets can also be separated and used as 2 magnets on a metal surface.
If buying more than 1 of a particular design, be sure to keep the fronts & backs together as a set or they may not cling to each other correctly.
Magnets will cling together and stand up through wind and rain.
A quick way to decorate your home or office!
Enjoy using your new Screen Art Magnets and have fun creating numerous scenes!

Step-by-Step Installation Instructions & Helpful Tips
Install on the room side of your glass doors. The side of the film contacting the backing paper is applied to the glass.
- Clean Glass
TIP: It is very important that the glass be clean. Use a scrapper to remove any paint splatters or hard materials that may be stuck to the surface. The glass should now be clean. - After cleaning, but before starting to apply, WASH YOUR HANDS. This prevents dirt and oils from your hands from getting between the film and the glass as you apply it.
- Using a spray bottle with water and a few drops of liquid soap thoroughly wet glass. Set spray bottle to a mist setting.
TIP: Completely wetting the glass makes it easiest to position the film & squeegee out air bubbles. - Remove film from backing paper and position on glass.
TIP: Use the side of your hand to smooth out any large bubbles. The film will then "float" on the glass for you to move into its final position. - Once in place, Squeegee out all air bubbles.
TIP: It is easiest to squeegee out the air bubbles if you use your soap and water spray bottle to wet the front of the film before you squeegee.
TIP: If an edge of the material tries to roll up and will not lie flat, use a hair dryer on a low heat setting to warm the material until it is becomes pliable. Turn off heat and hold in place for 60-90 seconds or until material cools to room temperature.
